Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to lead our front desk team at Pomeroy Lodging LP. As a Front Desk Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, leading your team to achieve excellence, and upholding the highest standards in guest service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the front desk team to deliver outstanding guest service, ensuring a "picture-perfect" first impression.
  • Ensure assigned tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, with minimal follow-up required.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and resources to direct reports for their continuous development.
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, and register transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist staff with problem payments, direct billing companies, and process various payment types.
  • Maintain product knowledge of room types, promotions, rate plans, and hotel amenities.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in front desk or hotel operations is an asset.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Tech-savvy.

Working Conditions:

This role may include dayshift, afternoon, or evening shifts, with occasional night audit shifts. The position requires long periods of standing and may involve lifting and bending. There may be periods of independent work and brief exposure to cold air due to the front desk location.
