Job Description

We are seeking an experienced collections professional to join our team as an Accountant Representative. This role involves regular communication with customers regarding past due balances, maintaining accurate account notes, and monitoring aging reports to ensure timely action on problem accounts.

Responsibilities include:

• Communicating with customers via email and phone to resolve outstanding issues
• Maintaining detailed records of account interactions and notes
• Monitoring aging reports to identify and address high-priority accounts
• Performing account reconciliations as needed
• Resolving billing disputes and identifying opportunities for improvement
• Investigating payment discrepancies and providing solutions
• Supporting ad-hoc reporting and other collection-related tasks

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of [1-2] years of experience in collections or a related field
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary range of $50,000 CAD to $70,000 CAD, commensurate with experience. The compensation package includes a comprehensive benefits plan and opportunities for growth and development within the company.
