Job Description

GFL Environmental is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of AZ Owner Operator in our Line Haul Division out of South Western Ontario. This position requires the ability to transport solid waste from transfer stations to various landfills and perform daily runs to Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily transportation of solid waste from transfer stations to landfills in Ontario and Michigan
  • Regular vehicle inspections for mechanical issues and safety hazards
  • Accurate documentation of driving hours, breaks, and maintenance records
  • Maintenance of tractor and equipment records, including fuel receipts and toll expenses
  • Compliance with regulations, including Hours of Service, Occupational Health and Safety, Customs and Immigration, and Weights and Dimensions
Requirements:
  • Valid AZ License
  • Able to cross US border daily with Commercial Motor Vehicle
  • At least 3 years of experience as an AZ driver
  • Driver's Abstract, CVOR Abstract, and criminal background check required
  • Great attitude and work ethic
  • Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
