About the Role

The Retail Planner will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic sales planning, inventory management, and assortment strategy. This role will play a critical part in delivering financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement seasonal sales plans, gross margin, and sales forecasts to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with the buying team to ensure that products align with sales plans and meet business objectives.
  • Manage and update the Operating Budget (OTB) on a bi-weekly basis to ensure accurate financial planning.
  • Conduct business analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Reforecast business performance on a monthly basis to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Prepare and present ad-hoc reports to support strategic business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in planning, preferably in the fashion retail industry.
  • Proficient in Excel, with the ability to analyze large volumes of data.
  • Strong retail math, financial planning, forecasting, and analytical skills.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to multi-task.
  • In tune with current fashion trends and consumer needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
  • Bilingual in written and spoken English.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced work environment.
