Job Summary:

The Overnight Replenishment Team Lead is responsible for providing daily direction to team members working the overnight shift within the retail store. This includes sales floor replenishment, merchandise presentation, seasonal resets, inventory management, and price change execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delegate tasks and work assignments to team members, ensuring clear and concise direction and follow-up to guarantee proper execution.
  • Maintain adherence to standard operating procedures and processes, providing training and guidance when necessary.
  • Ensure visual presentation standards, including in-store signage, merchandise directives, and planograms, to provide a pleasant and productive shopping experience for customers.
  • Oversee nightly replenishment of sales floor from backstock inventory, as well as new replenishment from distribution centers and direct vendor deliveries.
  • Support inventory management in partnership with the Inventory Control team, completing on-demand counts, empty peg scanning, pick requests, and display integrities during off-peak business hours.
  • Collaborate with the Assistant General Manager to coordinate special events, maintain pricing and UPC integrity, determine proper assortments, and ensure accuracy of inventory.
  • Support the Assistant General Manager in carrying out supervisory responsibilities, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, measuring and evaluating performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Assist in staffing the department with service-oriented associates, participating in interviewing, and making recommendations for selection, coordinating training, and preparing weekly work schedules.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts.
  • Ability to read and analyze reports, effectively present information, and respond to inquiries from managers, team members, customers, and the general public.
  • Proficiency with PC-based word processing, spreadsheets, data-based management, and inventory management systems.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
