Job Overview:

The Electrical Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of electrical activities on construction projects across Canada.

About Us:

Ganotec is a reputable heavy industrial contractor serving the Canadian industrial sector. Our comprehensive services include civil, structural steel erection, heavy mechanical equipment installation, process piping, and electrical/instrumentation and controls. We operate through various contract styles, such as full turnkey, EPC, design-build, T&M, and conventional discipline packages.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all electrical scope of work from procurement to commissioning.
  • Lead and supervise electrical teams on site, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Maintain strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and policies.
  • Develop and implement project schedules and timelines.
  • Organize regular safety meetings and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Manage subcontractor administration and client relations.
  • Initiate and attend meetings for problem resolution and planning.
  • Oversee and approve job cost updates and cash flow projections.
  • Ensure timely performance evaluations for direct reports.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in electrical coordination and management, particularly on large-scale industrial or hydroelectric projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing multiple subcontractors and suppliers.
