Strategic Design Leadership Position

To excel in this position, you should be an experienced design leader with a strong track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving business results through design. You should be well-versed in industry trends and technologies, with a passion for staying up-to-date on the latest developments in design and product management.
Your primary responsibility will be to lead design across multiple product areas, including Feature Flags, Push, Content Cards, and In-App Messaging channels. You will work closely with product management, UX research, and engineering leadership to develop strategies and execute plans that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
You will be responsible for mentoring and developing your team members, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles. You will also contribute to the development of our design organization's vision and strategy, working closely with divisional leadership to establish goals and objectives.
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes that drive efficiency and effectiveness. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure consistency and alignment across product areas, and provide guidance and support to designers as needed.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in design and/or front-end development, with at least 2 years of experience managing direct reports. You should have a strong understanding of complex problems and products, and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience, is offered for this position. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement and employee stock purchase plans, flexible paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
