CBC/Radio-Canada is a leading media organization seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join its Procurement team in Montreal. This full-time role offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum.

About the Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for providing analytical support to the Procurement team, ensuring the effective maintenance of CBC/Radio-Canada's procurement systems and processes.

You will participate in process review and re-engineering activities, documenting processes and procedures, and administering various system activities such as hands-on maintenance of system data and configuration.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing application administration, including supplier and user adoption, workflow configuration, and training coordination during the implementation period;
  • Developing automations and delivering procurement reports for management and other interested parties;
  • Creating and strategically analyzing reports needed to provide metrics and KPIs for decision-making and/or communications purposes;
  • Maintaining procurement databases, including contracts, needs specifications, product pricing, and all related information;
  • Delivering ongoing support for implementation and development of the Source-to-Procure (S2P) application and other procurement platforms;
  • Conducting market research to find innovative procurement solutions;
  • Tracking spending and savings, including continuous improvement programs and supplier performance measurements;
  • Developing proposals and recommendations for improvements to supply management processes and playing an active role in driving efficiency;
  • Helping evaluate new features by performing predefined test scenarios or other related work;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience in business administration, accounting, supply chain management, finance, or an IT discipline;
  • Five or more years' experience within a procurement department using enterprise procurement system applications such as Ariba and SAP;
  • Strong knowledge of purchasing processes and public procurement best practices;
  • An open-minded, innovative, and self-confident attitude;
  • A service-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills;
  • Fluent bilingualism in English and French, spoken and written;
  • Familiarity with Crown corporations and government agencies is an asset.
