Job Description
We are seeking an experienced diesel truck mechanic to join our team in Boucherville, QC. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a wide range of vehicles, including tractor-trailers, buses, and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all levels of preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, brake pad replacements, and tire rotations.
- Diagnostics and repair complex issues with engines, transmissions, and other major components.
- Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions or ensure proper operation.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience working as a diesel truck mechanic, preferably in a similar industry.
- Provincial license (Red Seal/310T) and current driver's license class D or class 3 with air brake certification required.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with regular, predictable attendance.
