We are seeking a HR Coordinator to join our client's team in a fun and fast-paced environment. This role is ideal for someone with 1-2 years of HR experience, looking to grow in a supportive setting with high exposure to transactional Human Resources. We're looking for a personality fit—someone who enjoys a good laugh, and thrives in a collaborative environment. This is a maternity leave cover with possibility for extension beyond the 12 months.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide recruitment support including the creation of job postings, interview guides and performing background and reference checks
* Create offer letters and termination paperwork
* Coordinate benefits administration and support employees with inquiries.
* Support the company wide Health and Safety policies and protocols.
* Provide assistance to HR related matters as needed

**Requirements:**

* Post-Secondary Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, or equivalent experience
* CPHR Candidate is considered an asset
* 2 years of experience in HR / Talent Acquisition
* Strong interpersonal skills
