Director of Family Medicine Leadership

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Family Medicine Leadership to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and results-driven professional to lead and manage our department's clinical operations, develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, and collaborate with other departments to achieve our goals.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years' experience practicing in family medicine, with a proven track record of leadership, clinical excellence, and strategic planning.
About the Role:
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical programs and services that align with our hospital's vision and mission.
- Collaborate with medical staff, administrators, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Develop and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and make recommendations for resource allocation.
- Promote quality improvement initiatives, evaluate their effectiveness, and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Foster a culture of excellence, respect, and inclusivity among our staff, physicians, and patients.
Requirements:
- Degree in medicine (MD or equivalent) and certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Minimum five years' experience practicing in family medicine, with a strong focus on leadership, education, and research.
- Proven track record of achieving clinical and operational excellence, with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work collaboratively with diverse groups of people, including physicians, nurses, administrative staff, and patients.
