Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Home Care - Prince Albert. As a member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health and healing.
About the Role
This part-time temporary position involves working shifts of hours per 6 weeks. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of client-centered care and be able to work independently as a member of a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client plans
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal client outcomes
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to promote positive relationships and care transitions
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Practical Nursing diploma and current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
What We Offer
