About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pizza Cook to join our team at HFX Foodhub Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas to meet the demands of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring that all food is prepared to a high standard and presented in an appealing manner.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they are clean and well-maintained, and take steps to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Team Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and that all equipment is in good working order.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Clean kitchen and work areas, and maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all team members.
Work Environment

As a Pizza Cook at HFX Foodhub Inc., you will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, preparing and cooking pizzas to meet the demands of our customers. You will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about providing excellent customer service and delivering high-quality food products.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Will train - we are looking for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a restaurant or fast-food outlet/concession.
