Job Description

Bell Temple LLP, a leading insurance defence litigation firm, is currently recruiting for an experienced Accident Benefits specialist.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years' experience in drafting correspondence to other counsel, insurance companies, clients, and completing Accident Benefit and FSCO forms. They will also be responsible for preparing applications for mediation and arbitration, scheduling various meetings and appointments, and preparing pleadings and court documents.

We estimate the annual salary for this position to be approximately £45,000 - £60,000, depending on experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Drafting correspondence to other counsel, insurance companies, clients, and completing Accident Benefit and FSCO forms;
  • Preparing applications for mediation and arbitration;
  • Scheduling various meetings and appointments;
  • Preparing pleadings and court documents;
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need a Law clerk diploma or Institute of Law Clerks of Ontario Certificate, strong knowledge of Accident Benefits procedures and FSCO forms, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

You will also require strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
