About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Fine Signs Ltd. as an Office Administrator - Career Advancement. This is a permanent full-time position working 32-40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine and establish effective office procedures and routines to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Schedule and confirm appointments, meetings, and events in a timely manner.
  • Manage contracts, agreements, and other administrative documents with precision.
  • Answer telephone calls, relay messages, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Compile data, statistics, and other information to support business decisions.
  • Greet visitors, direct them to relevant contacts or service areas, and provide assistance as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of MS Excel, MS Windows, and MS Word software applications to perform tasks efficiently.
Computer and Technology Knowledge
  • Familiarity with MS Excel for data analysis and management.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows for operating system management.
  • Skilled in MS Word for document creation and editing.
Experience

This role requires a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar administrative position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administration, with a focus on career advancement and professional development.

Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Participate in government or community programs that support newcomers and refugees.
  • Recruit candidates who were displaced by conflicts or natural disasters.
  • Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition.
Support for Youths
  • Offer on-the-job training tailored to youth.
  • Provide mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for youth.
Support for Veterans
  • Recruit Veterans and military-experienced candidates through targeted hiring initiatives.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Participate in government or community programs that support Indigenous people.
  • Offer mentorship, coaching, and networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Indigenous communities and organizations.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is $60,000-$70,000 CAD, depending on qualifications and experience. The compensation package includes benefits such as health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
