Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Buddha. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Culinary Leadership
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.
- Food Preparation and Presentation
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Prepare and cook special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef, demonstrating a deep understanding of nutritional needs and culinary expertise.
- Kitchen Operations and Management
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Order supplies and equipment, ensuring that the kitchen is well-stocked and equipped to meet the demands of our guests.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure their success and growth.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient use of resources.
- Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests and staff.
- Recruit and hire staff, identifying and selecting top talent to join our team.
- Organize buffets and banquets, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Manage kitchen operations, making informed decisions to drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Environment and Conditions
- Fast-paced environment with high energy and pressure.
- Physically demanding, requiring standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
