Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Medical Hematopathologist to join our team at Alberta Precision Laboratories Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing diseases and physiological disorders, conducting medical research, and supervising laboratory activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose diseases and physiological disorders
  • Conduct medical research on human disorders, illnesses, preventive or curative methods
  • Supervise laboratory activities, including ordering laboratory tests and X-rays
  • Train and supervise junior resident pathologists and morgue attendants
Requirements:
  • Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
  • Pathology residency programs and hematological pathology residency programs
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification Examination
  • Ability to distinguish between colors, manual dexterity, and repetitive tasks
Working Conditions:

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and relocation assistance.
