About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our restaurant, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality.
    • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to help them improve their performance.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including inventory management, cash handling, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
    • Negotiate with suppliers to ensure the best possible prices and quality for our food and supplies.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the restaurant's finances, including balancing cash and completing balance sheets and cash reports.
    • Monitor sales and inventory levels to ensure that the restaurant is operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of MS Office and electronic cash registers.
Working Conditions

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. They will also be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
