We are seeking a highly skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Island Health. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized university program and be registered with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC).
Key qualifications include:
Graduation from a recognized university program in Physiotherapy
Current practising full registration with the College of Physical Therapists of BC (CPTBC)
Eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (CPA)
Knowledge of current Physical Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice
Two (2) years' post graduate experience in physiotherapy
Community experience preferred
Valid BC Driver's License
- Prioritize, organize and problem-solve
- Observe and assess clients/patients
- Demonstrate sound judgement, tact and empathy
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Deal with others effectively
- Participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team
