Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager II to lead the development and implementation of knowledge exchange strategies and approaches to strengthen connections between evidence and practice in the Perinatal Mental Health and Substance Use Programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead knowledge exchange strategies and approaches to strengthen connections between evidence and practice.
  • Provide direction and support for the development, implementation, and evaluation of mechanisms to support translation of lived experience and evidence-based care.
  • Establish detailed project charters, plans, and objectives to outline timelines and project deliverables.
  • Track project progress according to project plan and identified metrics.
  • Develop and monitor project budgets within the context of operational demands and environmental and resource constraints.
  • Provide supervisory guidance and direction to staff.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, or relevant healthcare discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of recent, related experience in project management and facilitating and managing consultation processes with a wide range of stakeholder groups.
  • Project Management Professional designation considered an asset.
  • Experience or working knowledge of quality improvement methodology, change management, and chronic disease management.
  • Excellent communication skills to function within a complex interdisciplinary environment.
  • Computer literacy with word-processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, and database applications.
  • Commitment to develop knowledge and understanding of legislative obligations and provincial commitments found in the foundational documents.
