Director of Philanthropy at Luminato Festival Toronto

We are seeking a strategic and experienced fundraiser to join our Development Team as a Director of Philanthropy.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to directly influence the growth and impact of Luminato Festival Toronto by devising and executing innovative philanthropic strategies. As a collaborative leader, you will work across the organization to nurture and develop long-term relationships with prospective and current donors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively manage a portfolio of donors at various stages of their relationship with Luminato
  • Lead regular face-to-face donor/prospect meetings to generate increased giving for Luminato
  • Build relationships with new foundation funding sources both national and international
  • Steward senior assigned volunteers in donor cultivation and solicitation strategies
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years experience in major gifts fundraising
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for philanthropy and the arts
