We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Coordinator to join our Head office. This position offers a unique opportunity for an experienced professional to become an integral part of our team, supporting our lawyers and contributing to the seamless operation of their practice.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Administrative Management: Contribute to the administrative management of lawyers' practices, involving file opening and closure, meeting scheduling, and coordination of travel and accommodations.
  • Comprehensive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support, including docket entries, client list updates, billing coordination, expense processing, and invoice payments in accordance with firm accounting policies.
  • Maintaining Files: Maintain an organized and current file system for client files.
  • Drafting Correspondence: Draft various correspondences and documents, including memos, letters, emails, reports, presentations.
  • Proofreading: Utilize proofreading and editing skills to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and proper formatting of all work products, including attention to spelling and grammar.
  • Managing Communication: Manage communication with process servers for the efficient service and filing of court materials.
  • Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between lawyers and internal/external parties, facilitating effective communication on file progression and related matters.

Qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary education is required.
  • Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong prioritization skills and capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Upholds a high level of professionalism and maintains confidentiality in all matters.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/Outlook).

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
