Job Summary

The Learning and Development Specialist will be a key driver in shaping and delivering training programs across our warehouse and distribution center. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to support the growth and performance of individuals and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the development, facilitation, and evaluation of training programs, including onboarding, leadership development, and MicroPeaks microlearning workshops.
  • Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and on-the-job training.
  • Design and implement engaging and interactive training materials such as videos, infographics, and quizzes.
  • Administer the learning management system, maintain training records, databases, and participant registrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess training needs and create programs that align with business objectives.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Education, Learning & Development, or adult education, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design, adult learning principles, and e-learning platforms.
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and view feedback as an opportunity for improvement.

About the Role

This role is primarily based out of our New Westminster office and is open to hybrid remote work arrangements. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with the L&D team and the People & Culture department to inspire the personal and professional growth and leadership development of every Arc'teryx team member.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is $69,000 - $86,000 per year. Please note that individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
