The estimated salary for this position is between $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled HR Coordinator who will work closely with the Gensler Toronto Human Resources team to support day-to-day operations, projects, and special initiatives. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

  • Support Gensler Toronto functions by working closely with the HR Manager and teams.
  • Assist with the implementation of HR programs, including onboarding, annual reviews, compensation planning, pipeline development, and other related activities.
  • Create and maintain periodic and ad hoc reports regarding metrics, employee demographics, salary, staffing/productivity, and other related information.
  • Maintain and ensure the accuracy of HRIS data and personnel files.
  • Gather and synthesize team member activity, including transfers, leave of absences, new hires, departures, and other related events.
  • Develop research and/or special projects as needed.
  • Assist with learning coordination in the office.
  • Support Toronto HR with administrative needs, including scheduling meetings, correspondence, and other tasks.
  • Independently create presentations and internal correspondence.
  • Participate in staffing and other operational functions as appropriate.
  • Respond to employee questions and requests regarding benefits, payroll, and policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 3-5 years of experience working in a team environment at a professional organization; some Human Resources experience required.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and knowledge of InDesign a plus.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HCM software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail.
  • Ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment abilities/skills.
  • Team player with the ability to establish collaborative working relationships.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working under tight deadlines.
