**Job Description:**

As an Associate Veterinarian at Preston Animal Clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing medical and surgical care to animals, under the supervision of senior veterinarians.
  • Conducting physical examinations, taking medical histories, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans, including prescribing medications and performing surgeries.
  • Communicating with clients to explain test results, diagnose conditions, and recommend treatments.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development and continuing education to stay up-to-date on the latest advances in veterinary medicine.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited university.
  • Licensure to practice veterinary medicine in Ontario.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
