Senior Meat Department Assistant Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Meat Department Assistant Manager to join our team at Farm Boy. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of our meat department by providing exceptional customer service, leading a high-performing team, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide superior customer service and support by being approachable, knowledgeable, and friendly
- Lead a high-performing team by coaching, training, and developing employees to achieve their full potential
- Drive sales growth by implementing effective merchandising strategies, analyzing sales data, and making informed decisions
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all health and safety protocols and procedures
- Work closely with the Department Manager to achieve company, store, and department goals
Requirements:
- Typically requires completion of a post-secondary program with an emphasis in business or a related field, plus a minimum of 2 years of progressively responsible supervisory or management experience in a similar role
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills
- Clear and effective communication style, both written and oral
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities while communicating with customers and team members
- Ability to learn manual and automated systems/tools
- Skilled at working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining priorities and a high level of performance
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Fluency in English and French shall be considered an asset
