Job Summary

Ron Braniff Trucking Ltd. is seeking a skilled Truck Trailer Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our truck-trailer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Repair and Maintenance: Diagnose and repair or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems, including electrical and electronic systems, diagnostics, and welding.
  • Truck-Trailer Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on truck-trailers, including adjustments and replacements of parts and components.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all repairs and maintenance meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certifications: Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification and Truck-Trailer Repairer Red Seal Endorsement.
  • Specialized Skills: Electrical and electronic system, diagnostics, welding, and truck-trailer repair.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, manual dexterity, and standing for extended periods.
  • Tools and Equipment: Own tools and steel-toed safety boots.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, judgement, and reliability.
Work Environment
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
