Culinary Team Leader

Sima Japanese Restaurant is seeking a skilled Culinary Team Leader to oversee our kitchen operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing and cooking meals for customers with dietary needs, as well as managing inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine food portion sizes and costs, ensuring optimal profitability for the restaurant.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements, considering seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, developing relationships with local vendors to secure the best deals.
- Prepare and cook meals for customers with dietary needs, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Order supplies and equipment, staying up-to-date on the latest industry trends and innovations.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
Cuisine Specialties:

Requirements:
