About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Distinguished Project Manager for Construction at Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and conduct pre-bid, pre-start, progress, and final project site meetings.
  • Collect field data required for the preparation of repair specifications, drawings, and tendering.
  • Prepare technical specifications for roofing remediation projects.
  • Provide support in the completion of design tender documents.
  • Review drawings and specifications to verify that the scope of work is sufficient and to ensure that all required details, materials, methods, etc. are correctly specified.
  • Assist with roof inspections, design investigations, and roof design.
  • Participate in design review meetings for roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope.
  • Review project submittals and shop drawings to verify compliance with project specifications and drawings.
  • Perform quality observations of work in progress to ensure compliance with tender documents and applicable codes and standards.
  • Ongoing project management and contract administration of multiple projects at a time.
  • Provide technical assistance to field technicians and technologists.
  • Coordinate all input for time billing and job costing.
  • Other assigned duties and tasks, as required.

Requirements

  • Completion of a post-secondary degree or diploma in an applicable or related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in the field of roofing and project management.
  • Preference to candidates with Registered Roof Observer (RRO) designation.
  • In-depth knowledge of different roofing and construction systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
