Job Overview
This role is accountable for building and maintaining tools, dies, and fixtures to support a production schedule in the automotive industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality dies, jigs, and fixtures to support production schedules.
- Fabricate dies, die sections, fixtures, and other components within specified timeframes.
- Troubleshoot and repair dies and fixtures to resolve production issues.
- Report any problems that may impact production schedules.
- Provide guidance and training to apprentices.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Completion of specialized trade courses and/or apprenticeship/certification.
- 1-3 years of work-related experience.
- Certified Tool and Die Maker.
- Valid Crane License preferred.
