This role is based in St. Catharines, Ontario, and involves working closely with the finance team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. As an Accounts Payable Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for receiving and verifying invoices and expense reports from vendors and suppliers.

You will also process payments to vendors per company terms, determine and process supplier credits owed, and reconcile payable reports each month. Additionally, you will work with buyers on pricing and short/over-ship matters, as well as collaborate with vendors on payment requests and credit approvals.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including regulatory remittances, utility account setups, and vendor credit applications. You will also be responsible for balancing corporate credit card processing, managing filing and archiving, and analyzing vendor volume and aging.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in accounting and finance. A minimum of 5 years' experience in industry is required, along with a Business Degree or Diploma. Multi-entity corporate group experience and proficiency in Sage or Microsoft Dynamics are preferred skills.
