Head Chef at God's Hand Kitchen

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Head Chef to join our team at God's Hand Kitchen. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and will possess excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire our team members.
- You will be responsible for planning menus, ordering supplies, and managing inventory, as well as supervising the preparation and cooking of meals.
- Your attention to detail and ability to work under pressure will be essential in ensuring that we maintain our high standards of quality and service.
- Coordinate special events, including catering for large groups and banquets.
- Determine the size of food portions and costs, ensuring that we remain within budget.
- Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring that we have everything needed to maintain our high standards of quality.
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, using fresh and seasonal ingredients whenever possible.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas, ensuring that they are clean and safe for use.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we are aware of any stock levels and can plan accordingly.
- A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
- You will need to be reliable, organized, and able to work independently, as well as being a team player who can contribute to the success of our kitchen.
- A competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
