We are a fast-paced food service establishment seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Food Service Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and maintaining high standards of quality in all aspects of your work.

Job Summary

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the food service industry, with a strong focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service at all times, responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and surfaces, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Load buspans and trays, operate dishwashers, and maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, handling cash transactions and operating a point-of-sale system.
  • Restock refrigerators, salad bars, and other storage areas, ensuring adequate supplies are available at all times.
  • Remove garbage and trash, sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors as needed.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but previous experience in the food service industry is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
