As an SEO Strategist at VERB Interactive, you will play a vital role in driving our clients' online success. Your expertise in search engine optimization will help us improve search engine rankings, increase online visibility, and drive more traffic to our clients' websites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to drive online success for our clients
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and technical SEO audits to identify areas for improvement
  • Optimize website content, meta tags, and other on-page elements to improve search engine rankings
  • Manage backlink profiles, develop link building strategies, and monitor website performance using a suite of tools
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that drive online success
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, best practices, and algorithm updates to ensure our clients' websites remain competitive

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or a related field
  • Post-secondary education in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ranking factors, SEO best practices, and technical SEO expertise
  • Working knowledge of CMS platforms, such as WordPress and Drupal, and experience with on-site SEO technical issues
  • Experience managing SEO for websites with WordPress and Drupal, as well as crawling and analyzing websites for technical SEO issues
  • Proven experience managing domain indexing with Google Search Console and knowledge of technical SEO tools and keyword tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present reports to clients and explain rationale for decision-making
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively
