Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a highly competitive $120,000 - $150,000 per year salary, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes discounted or free food, housing allowance, and profit sharing. Additionally, you will have access to paid vacation travel and bonuses.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational, regulatory, and professional services activities of the pharmacy meet the highest standards of excellence in patient-centered care. This includes:

  • Complying with Provincial Pharmacy Regulations and adhering to Provincial Practice Standards and Guidelines
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and following all practices consistent with the Privacy Act
  • Ensuring compliance with NIHB Claims Submission and Store Operating Procedures
  • Managing pharmacy staff, including orientation, training, and employee accountabilities
  • Providing patient-focused, positive outcome care, and collaborating with healthcare professionals and community agencies
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
  • Licensed by relevant Provincial College of Pharmacists
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and maintain Continuing Education Requirement for Provincial licensure
  • Effective communication skills to counsel, educate, and instruct patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
  • Previous management experience (preferably 1 year) and community-oriented
  • Experience with Pharmacy Software Programs, and experience with Kroll is considered as an asset
