Critical Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Specialist to join our team at VCA Canada Guardian Veterinary Centre in Edmonton, AB. This is an exciting opportunity for a Board Certified or residency trained Criticalist to make a difference in the lives of pets and their families.

About Our Ideal Candidate

  • You must be eligible to sit for board examination as a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (ACVECC) or the European Society of Veterinary Cardiology (ESVC)
  • You practice cooperative, team based medicine and have exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
  • You must be eligible to be licensed in the province of Alberta
  • Previous experience handling multiple caseloads, including critical care cases, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and service to clients
  • You fit well into a collaborative team culture and exhibit excellent communication skills with fellow colleagues, clients, and the referral community
