We are seeking a part-time English and math teacher/tutor to join our team at Oxford Learning Centres, Inc. in Richmond Hill, ON.

About the Role

This position involves working directly with students as an interactive coach, teaching up to three students at a time at different levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for teaching and a good understanding of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum.

Responsibilities
  • Teaching English and math subjects to students at different levels
  • Following the Oxford Learning methodologies and philosophies
  • Filling in post-lesson notes and completing daily student communication updates
  • Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or similar certification in a relevant field
  • Fourth year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
  • Teaching certification an asset
  • Good knowledge of the current Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum
