Job Title: Kitchen Department Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Department Lead to join our team at Exit 5ive Pub & Restaurant.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of kitchen staff, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and has a strong background in food preparation and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient kitchen operations to meet the needs of our busy restaurant.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver outstanding food quality and service.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
  • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, minimizing waste and reducing costs.
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including sales data and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing dishes.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a commercial kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
