Job Description
This key account medical specialist will play a crucial role in building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and promoting Abbott Diabetes Care products. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to travel up to 50% of the time, and possess a deep understanding of clinical and scientific concepts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams to drive sales growth and expand market share.
- Provide clinical expertise and support to investigators participating in company-sponsored studies.
- Present scientific data and information to healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (medical or scientific discipline) or equivalent experience.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Familiarity with diabetes management and treatment options is preferred.
