Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a semi-trailer truck across the country, following a predetermined route and schedule.
  • Load and unload goods at designated locations, ensuring accurate and efficient handling.
  • Obtain necessary permits and documents to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Conduct regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as brake adjustments and tire checks.
  • Communicate with dispatch and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Record and report on cargo information, hours of service, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules and routes
