Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Woodworking Craftsman to join our team at J.Y Tiling LTD. This permanent position offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 2 years of experience in the trade. As a Woodworking Craftsman, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.

You will also be required to fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, as well as maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

The successful candidate must be able to work in a noisy and dusty environment and have the physical capability to handle heavy loads and perform tasks such as bending, crouching and kneeling.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in the trade
