Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawn Care Supervisor to join our team at PB10 Construction & Landscaping. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance of our grounds, including planting, hiring, and supervising staff, as well as planning and directing grounds maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Planting and Maintenance: Direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns, ensuring high-quality results and adherence to company standards.
  • Staff Supervision: Hire, supervise, and schedule staff to ensure efficient and effective grounds maintenance operations.
  • Grounds Maintenance Planning: Plan and direct grounds maintenance activities, including organizing planting, labor, and material estimates.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate work records and logs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Supply Requisition: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support grounds maintenance operations.
Support for Diverse Groups
  • Mentorship Programs: Develop and implement mentorship programs to support the integration of newcomers, refugees, youth, and Indigenous workers into our team.
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training to all employees to create a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week.
