Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Community Health team at Northern Health Authority. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care services to patients in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver community-based respiratory services, including promotion of respiratory health, assessment, diagnostic testing, education, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with respiratory dysfunction.
- Formulate and document respiratory care plans and disease self-management strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on effective respiratory disease management.
- Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Successful completion of the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care (CBRC) credentialing exam.
- Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).
- Two years' recent related experience in respiratory home care, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid BC driver's license and access to personal vehicle for work-related purposes.
