Job Title: Night Audit Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Night Audit Clerk to join our team at New Castle Hotels & Resorts. As a Night Audit Clerk, you will be responsible for reviewing the prior day's books, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of records, and providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability: Ensure all aspects of the hotel's records of the prior day's operations are processed timely and accurately recorded.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to guests, responding to their needs and concerns in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of the job, including reviewing financial records and processing transactions.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Safety and Security: Follow hotel safety and security policies and procedures, and report any incidents or concerns to management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in a hotel or related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in front office software

Requirements:

This role requires good verbal and written English communication skills, with experience in a hotel or related field preferred. An accounting background is also preferred but not required although a strong, accurate attention to detail is necessary. You must be able to handle cash or credit transactions and have front office software proficiency. This job requires light work -- exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently with a regular need to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. From time to time you may need to assist with luggage which may require you to exert force of up to 50 pounds of force. This role may be asked to assist with van service --if so a valid driver's license will be required.
