The Opportunity

We are seeking a results-driven Strategic Sales Broker Success Manager to oversee our Onboarding Team, guiding newly graduated Sales Brokers through their initial 4-8 weeks following Training. This role involves motivating and encouraging the team through effective coaching and mentoring to meet and exceed company goals and expectations.

Primary Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Collaborate with Senior Management and other leads to ensure successful training outcomes for graduating classes throughout their Probationary Period.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and feedback to Sales Brokers to enhance their performance.
  • Work closely with the Mentor pool to develop and deploy curriculum of operational checklists and support the team in meeting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Partner with the Training & Development team during the practical phase (call handling) to provide regular feedback on improvement strategies.
  • Facilitate daily and weekly debriefs and training sessions on Workload Management, Sales Effectiveness, Industry Reports, and Quality Assurance/Business Analytics overviews.
  • Participate in the recruitment process to identify top talent.
  • Offer guidance and feedback to the team to enhance product/service skills and knowledge.
  • Respond to escalated calls, ensuring mutually agreeable outcomes for clients, insurers, and brokerage whenever possible.
  • Action QA results and provide feedback to team members regarding quality, ratings, and comments received on an ongoing basis.
  • Work with QA and Management to ensure file documentation and underwriting meet brokerage standards.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Actively manage phone queues to ensure team members are SLA compliant and answer inbound sales calls, quotes, and convert when Service Level Agreements are at risk of not being met.
  • Lead referral, x-date, cross-sell, and upsell campaigns as designed by the leadership team.
  • Conduct regular feedback sessions and team meetings.
  • Assume operational responsibilities as needed, including liaising with third-party technology vendors and cross-functional teams within the organization.
  • Work with Senior Management and HR on performance management issues.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a Sales Management environment.
  • RIBO license.
  • Proven track record of increasing sales targets/metrics.
  • Strong commitment to teamwork.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven sales ability.
  • A results-oriented professional with a strong work ethic.
  • An unwavering commitment to delivering professionalism and expertise to clients.
  • Must be organized, able to multitask, and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office products such as Word and Excel.

Compensation Package:

RATESDOTCA Group Ltd. offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and an incentive bonus structure. The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $80,000-$120,000 CAD, commensurate with experience.
