Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all service operations to expand membership, deliver member satisfaction, and achieve strategic goals. This includes implementing programs and initiatives to engage current members and recruit new ones, utilizing web or social media processes to promote the organization and distribute membership information, and maintaining a database or system to measure and report on member satisfaction and retention.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Planning daily, weekly, and annual periodization of all groups of children and adults training at the facilities;
  • Marketing and developing new and engaging activities for members and non-members;
  • Budgeting and planning annual budgets for operations, maintenance, competition, and staffing;
  • Allocating resources to implement organizational policies and programs;
  • Assisting in recruitment, selection, onboarding, and training of new employees;
  • Coordinating the work of different divisions or departments;

The General Manager, Memberships will also oversee special events, represent the organization, and maintain program records of participation and performance.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in management;
  • Preferred experience in cheerleading sports athletics, memberships, and programs;
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and leadership.

This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 35 hours per week at a minimum, with 20 vacation days included in the package.
