About the Role

The Mason Group - Strategic Search Partners is seeking a seasoned Sustainability Reporting Director to join their growing team. This key position will play a pivotal role in delivering industry-leading sustainability reporting and staying ahead of emerging standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the consolidated carbon metric reporting for the annual report, ensuring compliance with sustainability reporting requirements.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing sustainability reporting team, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Closely collaborate with the Sustainable Investing team and industry peers to ensure alignment with sustainability reporting standards and best practices.
  • Establish expertise in sustainability reporting and deliver education across the organization.
  • Influence teams across the company to enhance sustainability reporting practices and meet growing disclosure requirements.
  • Research and analyze evolving sustainability reporting standards, preparing recommendations for senior leaders.
  • Elevate sustainability reporting processes and controls, engaging with external and internal auditors as needed.
About You

We seek a seasoned professional with 7+ years of experience in sustainability reporting, preferably within pensions, asset management, or financial services. Your expertise should include knowledge of sustainability reporting standards and frameworks like IFRS Sustainability Standards, TCFD, and GRI.

You must possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a minimum of 3+ years in a leadership position coaching and developing staff. Comfort with change and ambiguity, problem-solving skills, and research capabilities are essential.

A self-starter who can work independently and collaboratively, fostering a collegial team culture, you should also have high proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with Alteryx and Power BI experience being an asset.
