Queen's University is committed to fostering a diverse community of scholars.  The Student Awards Officer, reporting to the Director, Awards Operations & Special Events, plays a critical role in the administration of undergraduate merit-based award programs and need-based award programs for all current students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer complex financial aid duties in support of students and in accordance with university policies and/or government regulations.
  • Act as a representative of the Office of the University Registrar (Financial Aid & Awards) at campus events through various mediums, which may include attendance, presentations, advising, and written communication.
  • Provide financial advising to current and prospective students, and present financial aid options to student and community groups while studying at Queen's University.
  • Monitor students' government financial assistance accounts using portal systems and databases and confirm eligibility requirements are being met.
Education Requirements:

A four-year Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required for this position.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
