Electrical Distribution Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Distribution Manager to join our team at Nedco. As a key member of our Winnipeg location, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, maintaining customer service standards, and ensuring the smooth operation of our branch.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and recommend sales strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate customer service measurement criteria and take action to ensure compliance with customer service standards.
  • Prepare and manage work schedules to ensure adequate workflow and customer service.
  • Hire and train personnel to meet business needs.
  • Promote a positive work climate and ensure proper implementation of company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory control, delivery, billing, and collection processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements:

  • A college education plus 3-5 years of experience in the electrical distribution industry or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Sound business acumen to analyze financial reports and develop implementation strategies.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • AS400 experience is an asset.
  • Experience in the sale of electrical products/industry is required.
