Head Baker

We are seeking an experienced Head Baker to join our team at Alberta Ltd. in a challenging and rewarding role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our baking team and ensuring that all products meet the highest quality standards.

• Bake mixed dough and batters to specifications, adhering to established recipes and quality control measures.
• Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods to maintain exceptional presentation standards.
• Develop and implement production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
• Mentor and train staff members on baking techniques, quality control procedures, and best practices.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new product lines, menus, and services.
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and cleaned to prevent damage and contamination.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate as a minimum qualification.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position or related field.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects when necessary.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
